This is a once in a lifetime event as the Tapawera community commemorates the signing of the Armistice one hundred years ago, heralding the end of World War 1.

This is your opportunity to be involved in this very special event at Tapawera on Sunday 11th November to remember all those who served from this area and understand what life was like for both those who returned ad those who welcomed them home. Our aim is to re-create a camp atmosphere on the site of the former Military Training Camp grounds, with display tents showcasing the ‘Return Home’ and what life was like in this small rural community in 1918.

Please fill in the following form to register your interest and we will contact you with more information.
